Project Update: Mixing Woods at Kits Point

A major development over at the Buena Vista project at Kits Point has me reassured in the idea of mixing multiple types of wood and grain together in a small space. With a complete departure from my 3 finish rule, there are over 5 different finishes in this bad-ass grown-up flat. Woods like walnut, maple, oak all mix together with a balance of cloud white, Calcutta basket-weave tile, and even some of that sweet Caesarstone Ginger made a repeat appearance. The metals are a mix if brushed brilliance bronze from Brizo and some beautiful and simple antique bronze hardware from Du Verre hardware.

The custom bench seating - which extend from the dining room to then living room - is enhanced by the expandable Goliath table from Resource Furniture and I can not WAIT to see those pieces installed.

It's the fast track to the finish line and all hands are on deck working on the finishing and more. This is one pretty excited client!
