Brizo #Blogger19 Reunion.

My Venuto Faucet, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE.

My Venuto Faucet, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE.

If you do not know Brizo, and do not know Blogger 19, let me explain that Brizo is a fashion faucet line that I am inclined to spec for your project. They bring a design aesthetic that is less about the faucet technology, although they integrate that well too, and more about the individual experience with the faucet itself.

The Blogger 19 is a group of individual designers, now over 130 of us, with blogs like this one (kicking it since 2005.) There are a few of us Canadian members, but I am proud to say I was the first of us to travel state-side in September 2010 fro New York Fashion Week. Every time I run into a Brizo team member I am wonderfully reminded how I was the little guy in the room who put up his hand and asked "Does it come in black?" - and now it does. YOUR WELCOME.

Top of the agenda is a factory tour (I LOVE FACTORY TOURS!) and a trip to St. Jude Children's Hospital. As must as I am excited about the factory tour, I hear a bit about it already, I am really interested to see how Brizo and St. Jude raise that $61-million to benefit the cool kid-elite in the hospital. What's amazing about St. Jude is that no family pays for anything while their child is going though treatment.

I value every breathtaking second of these types of excursions because it provides me the facility to connect with other designers, industrial designers, and explore parts of this world that I might never have the opportunity otherwise. I do consider it a design-battery re-charge, although I can not tell you the type of alkalide being used at present.

So, I have my bag(s) packed, Downton Abbey season 3 on my iPad (with 8 hours of travel in coach with a brief stop over in Chicago, I will need the distraction) and my bow-tie.

Now, WILL SOME AMAZING CLIENT PLEASE LET ME SPEC A WHITE OR BLACK FAUCET! Sheesh. I'm begging here.
