Why you need wallpaper
Wallpaper isn't a dirty word and it is nothing to live in mortal fear of. It is time to embrace the paper and the patterns. I don't know about you, but if I could put up different wallpaper in every room I would be a happy happy boy. One of my favourite wallpapers for a while has been Flavor Paper because it is hand-screened by a bunch of really cool people. I am currently madly in love with the Brooklyn Toile. The pastoral scenes of traditional toile morphed into a Brooklyn renaissance of epic sights and sounds. From the good part of Brooklyn.
I'm also a bit swooning over Joanne Fabrics Just Stripes collection.
I can't imagine why anyone would dislike this pattern. It's graphic, colourful, interesting, and evokes an emotional response.
Here's another current crush, Thibaut Etosha in grey.
There really is nothing like "geometric" (I don't happen to think it is that geometric, honestly) to wrap an ENTIRE room.
And now for all the hipsters reading this, do not worry because you have options too like wallpapers by Erica Wakerly:
Now, who doesn't want wallpaper?!
Conclusion
By Andrew Luketic, Studio Director
The decorating services our design studio can provide many ways for our clients to customise their home. Wallpaper is one of those final touches that can make a space dynamic. There are so many options out there to choose from that every year when we see the new introductions at the design shows and the social media feeds of our suppliers we continue to be surprised. This is why we include a wallpaper selection with every design palette that coordinates with its colour scheme.
It is essential we get all the details right the first time. To ensure every project’s success we:
Utilise physical samples to understand the unique nuances of each material and finish physically in person
Select and confirm the materials and finishes together at the same time
We review each grouping of finish and material samples together in different light conditions to ensure every detail coordinated flawlessly together.
We have been using this same process since we were founded in 2011. No matter whether it is a full service design project or a online design product or service like our design palettes.
So we can not only recommend a wallpaper selection based upon a colour scheme that you can easily pick out from our collection. We can also provide a different wallpaper selection based upon each colour scheme at a flat rate. Each palette will help you build a shopping list to start setting up for a decorating project.
It’s often difficult for most people to identify their design style.
