Over at Design Junction in the West End I happened upon the wave of the future at Miele. Somehow, this surface reads your weight, calories, protein, and carbohydrate content from the print of your palm and suggests meals or foods to balance out your day complete with recipes and how-to videos.

I was more interested if it was going to lock the mint chocolate chip ice cream in the freezer as a form of corporal punishment (Big Brother!) than if I ate right that day. Aside from confirming the inevitable with "eat more greens, Corey" it was actually a really amazing look at the kitchen of the future.

(Also, this is my first WPApp post so I am hoping this technology thing works.)

For the first time in IDSWest history, my break-out session with Judith A. Neary, CMKBD was sold out; and if that wasn't a banner day to report, I don't know what is.

What a week at the Brizo #Blogger19 Reunion! We laughed, we cried, we were angry, we became excited, and we connected with each other. Two bus-loads of us designer types took two days to tour St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Brizo factory floor in hot 'n sweaty Memphis. Seriously, I could not have chosen a more perfect antiperspirant and light-weight clothing.
