Design statement

This townhome renovation in Fairview Slope was phased over two different projects. The top floor (or the party floor, as the clients called it) had a massive wrap-around deck, skylights, briged view, and a vista to the North Shore mountains. Alterations included resurfacing the rare wood-burning fireplace, adding concrete floors, a new kitchen, appliances, and completely opening the floor plan. A particularly difficult aspect of this project was the spiral staircase, meaning the appliances and countertop had to be craned over the entire building.
