Design statement
Bold homeowners call for bold design choices. Located in the Premiere Residences on Esplanade Avenue in North Vancouver, BC. This penthouse was the showpiece for the developer yet the quality and style of the existing interior finishes did not come anywhere close to matching the expressive, positive, and joyful attitude of its’ occupants.
The inspiration for this renovation design was taken from the New York Art Deco period, with a little lean on the French Art Deco and Gatsby-esque style of entertaining, to create a vibrant and highly-styled home with all the modern services and amenities of an urban community. The renovated kitchen features high-gloss Benjamin Moore Million Dollar Red custom cabinetry, Wolf/Sub-Zero and Asko Appliances, mirrored tile backsplash, and a custom-made kitchen exhaust hood surround in a spectacular Art Deco style. The half-bath renovation design featured Benjamin Moore Split Pea painted cabinetry and black glass panel with a custom door designed by us, crystal decorative cabinet hardware, cut crystal lavatory faucet, cut crystal lavatory sink, and stunning and intricate wall tile. The guest bath included a chromotherapy bath fitted out with a nostalgic tile detail in a butter yellow and bold black banding.
The pièce de résistance is principle ensuite bath with the custom steam shower featuring an engineered quartz surround, custom colour tilework, a railroad style floor pattern in thassos and marquina marble, and a console sink. Have you see the amount of tile in this bath? Stunning!
It’s often difficult for most people to identify their design style.
