St. George Residence
Furniture and Interior Styling in Vancouver, B.C.
the story
This single-family home in the South-Main neighbourhood of Vancouver was purchased by a previous Client. Although no significant renovations were needed, this home was a blending of families and style for busy professionals. Our focus was the furnishings and styling of the main floor to create a unified design aesthetic throughout the open plan by connecting the living area and family area at opposite ends.
Their existing furnishings & art collection were blended into a layout that optimized the space and made it authentic to them as a couple. Two simple colours (one historic) were suggested in the finish plan to compliment rest of the furnishing and styling. The bold curves and profiles of their existing mid century modern pieces were echoed in the new furnishings and custom upholstery. This integration honoured the joining of two families and their treasured possessions from years of travels and collecting. This bright corner lot has new life with an modern eclectic style.
